we took the top cover of the hive ' off and took of all the honey box.we replaced frames from ones that had been in the freezer .
Then we took off the queen excluder and lifted 2 frames to look for larvae ,pollen,nectar and capped honey.Then we put everything back together and watched for bees coming in with pollen.
